

No matter how elegantly you cover a knife, it remains a knife—sharp, brutal, and capable of inflicting harm. In much the same way, mandatory hijab and patriarchal stereotypes, though often draped in luxurious fabrics and adorned with delicate patterns, continue to confine and oppress. These symbols, no matter how beautiful they appear, mask the reality of limitations imposed upon us. Even as we strive to fight back and deny their impact, their presence lingers, a constant reminder of the struggles against imposed norms. Oppression exists no matter if we deny it or not we are LIVING UNDER THE SHADOWS.
